SummerFest 2026 BBQ Battle

Our Annual BBQ Competition during Spencerville’s Summerfest!!
8am to 5pm behind SpencerCity Bar and Grill
– $25 competition entry fee, chicken and ribs will be provided the day of the comp.
– $100 1st prize. $50 2nd prize for Ribs, and Chicken.
– Any fuel source allowed. Wood, , Pellet, Charcoal. Propane, Electric – but you gotta bring it!
– Live Bands All Afternoon
– Ribs will be available to purchase/consume onsite
– judging at 2pm for chicken, 4:30 for Ribs
– Pie in the Face auction at 4pm
Also happening during SummerFest, a huge Seasonal Vendors Market at the Spencerville Arena, and a Kids Zone with Bouncy Castle at the Spencerville Mill.
Come try your super secret family BBQ sauce recipe on the judges. Drink some beverages, cook some meat, enjoy the live music and the team spirit!!!
